Located next to the 1972 Olympic village in Munich, BMW museum is actually shaped like a mushroom so you will have no problems locating it! This historical and educational building takes you through the history of the BMW car model.

Built in 1973, this museum is one of the most unusual but unique structures in Munich. Beside the museum you'll see the BMW headquarters built in the shape of four cylinder like structures grouped together which actually gives the full building the look of a car part!

The museum is located right next to the tower. It displays the technical development of the car and also the BMW motorcycle. You will also learn of the history of BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) itself.

Visitors have the added benefit of viewing all videos and displays in English as well as German.
